I had the privilege of attending the First Priority campus club meeting during lunch today at Crystal River High School for FOCUS Week and – WOW – 133 students were in attendance! Talk about a student-led ministry that is reaching students … this is where it is. I sat with a blessed heart as I listened to student after student share what God has been teaching them through their local church. I left with this question on my heart, “Why is this not at every middle and high school in this county?”

Our First Priority campus clubs are built around a four-week/meeting cycle called F.I.S.H., culminating in HOOK.

  • FOCUS is week one of the cycle when the students FOCUS on what God is doing in their lives.
  • INSPIRE is when the campus club can have a guest speaker to give a non denomination inspirational talk.
  • SHARE is to help students recognize the significance of their personal testimony and learn to tell it well.
  • HOOK is an opportunity for Christian students to bring their non-Christian friends to a non-threatening environment where they’ll hear a clear presentation of the gospel and can respond in faith.

This is what it is all about.
